Nose
Beautiful. Tropical fruit, furniture polish, cookie dough and sugar.
Palate
Spice, a very full and balanced fruitiness and a bit of bitterness in the background.
Finish
Spicy, some peppery licorice. Quite winey. Long finish with an almost subliminal hint of dry smoke.
I'll admit that this is just a bit too winey for my taste (and I'm not a huge fan of the licorice either to be honest), but it's a very nice and complex dram for sure.
