Nose

Predominantly vanilla. Fresh fruit, maybe apples. A hint of nuts.

Palate

Slightly oily mouthfeel in the first microseconds. Oak and spices.

Finish

Some red fruits, pretty short finish with some alcohol burn.

If I'd tried this blind, I'd guessed this was a Glenfiddich, perhaps the 15 or 18 year old variants. Maybe my palate is too unrefined as I keep finding the same things in whisky! Anyway, not a favorite and I won't be on the lookout. Still an easy sipper and a tasty drink! It's a decent whisky, but nothing special.
