Part of an Irish lineup at the local whisky club. This is a blend of pot still and grain Irish whiskies.

1.3 (Russet muscat)

Nose

Malt, biscuits, herbs.

Palate

Berries, ethanol and sweet toffee.

Finish

Quite bitter, lots of herbs. Wet stones, citrus, cinnamon.

Too sharp, dry and bitter for my taste. It can't shake a thin air of ethanol that just not integrated at all. Given that, surprisingly easy to drink given its strength. Don't know how that works, but not a favorite anyway.
