Tasted as a sample as part of a Glenmorangie tasting night for Burns night. This is a bottle I've chased for a while but had no luck getting for one reason or another so I'm really happy to get to try it now!

Nose
creme brule, sweet buttery nose, caramely toffee
Palate
deliciously moreish and chewy on the mouthfeel really coats the mouth, lovely sweet spice, buttered popcorn, fresh ginger, orange blossom/honeysuckle
Finish
decent length on the finish. The sweet spice lingers. Burnt honey
Really worth the wait this one, which isn't always the case for bottles I chase! Really great whiskey, one that's worth the extra few Bob. Big dessert whiskey thanks to the sauternes finish. Might make your teeth fall out if you have too much in one sitting but probably worth it
